Cheapest Google Chromebooks Finally Affordable To Everyone (August 2015)

Haier Chromebook 11

I have few close friends who live in 3rd world countries and who are also my business partners in a sense that they affiliate through me. When they make a sale, it benefits me as well as I am either also having my product sold or getting a percentage by them having signed up under me in affiliate network. So it is in my interest, on both a personal level and as a financial benefit, for them to be able to access internet.

So far three of these friends only had internet access through smartphones or internet cafes as price of decent laptop was prohibitive. And they need laptops instead of desktops as crime is rampant and desktops would just get stolen. Sooner they could get properly geared up, more quickly they can make money to get out of Hell holes they are in and move somewhere more civilized.

So I found out about these new, cheap, Chromebook laptops, and rather than just letting them know, I figured I should write an article and let everyone be aware that finally there are decent laptops available no matter what your current financial situation.

Gumroad Finally Adds Affiliate Program

I am one of the early adopters of Gumroad, and its one of the places I recommend to everyone I know.  In no way do I benefit from your use of their service, unless you are buying one of my products that I sell through them, they are just quality and should be used and supported as they keep improving in directions that are in sync with what I want from service like theirs.

It is not affiliate program for referring folks to Gumroad, but a built in affiliate program so that you can have affiliates sell your items.

Obvious reason is because Gumroad is free to use and only takes percentages after you make a sale. If you are giving away your items for free through Gumroad, they offer free storage and charge you nothing, which is really cool.

A Brief Explanation Of Why Most People Are Poor And Stupid

This actually keeps coming up quite a bit in my online discussions, so I'm making this into a blog post to save myself time in the future. This way I can just direct people to this, instead of explaining it every time. Its just common sense, but ... people can be really stupid.

Average person is what we consider "normal" person. Half of the population is dumber and poorer than the average.

A poor person remains poor because they are stupid. An intelligent person can be poor, but statistically it will only be briefly. Difference is in approach to opportunities which present themselves to us every day. Just because you cannot recognize opportunities presented to you does not mean that they are not there.

Amazon Kindle Changes and How To Get On New York Times Bestseller List

As some of you might know, one of my streams of income are few hundred ebooks spread over dozen pen names. They are mostly under 100 pages, some are cookbooks, or reference books that people do not read cover to cover but simply rent using KDP lending library to get information.

Previously, each time a person would borrow one of my books, I would receive $1.33. That amount would add up very fast.

With new changes, it is 0.006$ (0.6 of a cent) per page read.

If what you are writing are page turners, you might make similar amount to before, but only if you have about 250 page books at a minimum.

Cost for KDP Unlimited members does not change, its still 10 dollars per month to read all they can from books in KDP library. KDP library membership is not mandatory either, but so far I saw only benefits to it.

But with this new change, top 10% of authors will simply remain at same level, while bottom 50% will have even harder time struggling to make their ... $500 per year. Yes, folks, that is what more than 50% of Kindle authors fail to break. A $500 per year barrier. And if I was trying to promote few books rather than having hundreds out there, I'd be making less than that as well. I do not buy reviews nor do I waste time trying to cheat the system just so I can claim "oh, I have a best seller". I know exactly how to, and I'll tell you.
