Simple Way To Shorten Amazon Affiliate Links

I just read some nonsense about Amazon prohibiting usage of shorteners and social media, and I'd like to point out that its not true. This is link to  Amazon Associates Social Networking FAQ.

Having said that I will also mention that affiliate links from Pinterest get stripped. What you can do is link image to a blog post, have affiliate link on the blog post, and get your commission that way.

You CAN just use any other link shortening service if you like, Goo.gl, for example, but that removes ability for Amazon to provide you some analytics so best way is to shorten URL using Amazon itself.

Normally, URL Amazon gives you will look something like this:

How To Run Multiple Google Chrome Profiles At The Same Time

This is actually very simple thing to do and it saves you from having to log off and log on different Google Plus profiles. There are various reasons to need to do that often, in my case it is because I have separate business accounts and separate personal accounts, and often I need to be logged into several at the same time.

Using Chrome plugins for IP proxies you can even appear to be two different people located in different countries if privacy is an issue.

Here is quick and easy way to create as many extra profiles as you need:

First 100 Domain Names Ever Registered

Have you ever wondered what was the very first domain name ever registered?

I have, long time ago, when I originally compiled my list of domain names to keep checking availability of to buy should original owners drop them. That was back when registering a domain name was far more expensive endeavor and nobody was buying thousands of domains. My initial investment was to buy twenty, I do not remember exact amount it came up to but  today that could probably get me a thousand.

It came up in conversation today, what were the first one hundred domains ever registered, so I decided to post a list here, maybe others will find it interesting as well.

Pay What You Want Does NOT Work As A Business Model And Here Is Why

I am going to begin this with a small disclaimer. Pay what you want DOES in fact work if you live someplace small, people will be shamed if they pay nothing, and its a face to face or honor type service where their coworkers and neighbors are watching them. It also DOES work in cases where what you are giving away is a failed product and your only option is to just give it away and hope for the best or just waste time and money invested so far and receive no money at all.

In all other instances it does NOT work.

Number of people you can Google and read about who tried to use this business model properly seems countless.

Radiohead used it for their 2007 album 'In Rainbows'.

Its been written about on major media sites like The Guardian.

Kiss's Gene Simmons is even quoted as having said "Come on in and pay whatever you want.’ Are you on fucking crack? Do you really believe that’s a business model that works?”

Yet I see people keep trying it, with usually wasted time and resources.

Collection of Helpful Links

This is large number of links to places relating to Idea Generation, Naming, Design, Development, Early Stage, Customer Interaction, Consumables, Learning, Marketing, Productivity, Money, and Legal.

I did not compile this list, I just copied it while back from some random place that I only found because of a Facebook Ad. Nothing else there looked interesting at all, so I did not even bother taking note of it.

Maybe few of you find this useful.
