Fact is that Google as a company has probably one of most unfriendly and unreachable customer support teams on internet. If your AdSense account results in message:
“Your Google Adsense account has been disabled or temporarily banned”.
Your appeal options are laughable. Chances are you might as well forget about it as they will not even tell you what exactly was the problem in the first place. I should also tell you that somebody else, a competitor, purposefully sending you ‘bad traffic’, or ‘low quality’ traffic can get you banned from AdSense without it ever being your own fault, and Google will not care nor help you. People repeatedly clicking your ads might result in same thing. Whether you choose to be polite or not also will make no difference as even if you do somehow get a response from Google, it will be unpaid or lowly paid intern with virtually no power to help you and master at nothing more than copy/pasting responses to you without even looking into your case. Google Customer Support exists only to give perception that they exist, not to actually help you.
Now, it is also true that you might get flagged by Google in a positive way, where they will ignore things which would get most people banned.
I recently read what amounts to an essay on how Google deals with it here: http://pastebin.com/qh6Tta3h however as I have no control over how long that link will remain active, I figured I might as well repost that in its entirety here as well: Here
Obviously Google reps are denying that's how things are done, my common sense figures that they are either doing it exactly as outlined or pretty close to it anyway. You feel free to think whatever you like.
But do not despair! You can monetize your website with one of hundreds of AdSense alternatives and here are 8 of the best ones:
1. Chitika
2. Adversal
3. Quadabra
4. Clicksor
5. Text Link Ads
6. Buy Sell Ads
7. Kontera
8. Infolinks
All these are very similar to each other and to Google AdSense, so best thing to do is try each of them for a while on separate niche site and see which ones you prefer. None really made anyone I know even close to what AdSense does, so unless you really cannot, I would suggest sticking with Google AdSense purely because it pays better.
I would say that this would be really an inspirational article for all those who’s adsense was repeatedly disapproved. Demotivate and fear of not to success just destroy one’s blogging future as in most of the case it has been seen that after 3-4 months a blog which was active for few days is now in vain and totally inactive resulting in spams and place for the spammers.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, we need to accept the challenges we face in our blogging journey, Adsense too is a part of it when we always don’t get success. Well, for all those who’s adsense is disapproved I would say, keep clam, and keep trying. Try, Try and Try, success will come to you. Thanks for your motivation Tharun and thanks a lot for this wonderful and inspiring article. Have a great weekend.

Google Adsense is the best revenue advertising program but I really don’t agree that it’s the best of all. Adsense has VERY strictly rules and may ban you even if you didn’t do anything to get that ban and the worst thing is, you cannot appeal (you can but you won’t get your account back).
ReplyDeleteInfolinks- this is probably the worst advertising media, it has ONLY facebook ads and they are really untargeted that’s why I really don’t recommend this media, really bad.
Adsense wins if you can have your account.
